Dr. William Therrien is a professor in the department of Curriculum, Instruction and Special Education at the University of Virginia Curry School of Education. He is the coordinator of the Research in Practice group for the STAR (Supporting Transformative Autism Research) project. He is also the co-editor of Exceptional Children, the flagship research journal of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
