Reading Horizons Review: Nadia Kohistani

My life has changed greatly by the Reading Horizons reading system. By using the program, I have enhanced my English and am able to comfortably use English. It has had a positive effect on my life, and I’m grateful to have been exposed to such a program.

I moved here from Afghanistan, and I am now 41. I did not know one word of English. I could not read, write, or speak English. I was so lost, and I felt like I was imprisoned. I couldn’t communicate or understand others. I even had a hard time at the grocery store! Thanks to phonics, these things have changed. I’m no longer lost. In just a couple of months, I was able to communicate with others. My grammar and spelling greatly improved.

I went from not being able to speak, write, or communicate, to being able to communicate freely in just a few months! I thought I would never learn English at my age, but Reading Horizons made it easy and efficient to learn English. Thanks to phonics, I am able to write this letter today.
