73 QUESTIONS.

After being MIA for most of the year, I’m going to try to get back into the swing of things. No promises though because I’ve said this before. Anyways, I just got back from an awesome vacation to London and Paris and I plan to blog about that soon, but until then…. Remember those surveys we all used to fill out on Myspace? Well, a couple of the blogs I follow (Rachel A. Dawson and Brave Love Blog)  did something similar to that and I couldn’t resist joining in on the fun.

So, here we go!

    1. What are you most excited about these days?  The next upcoming thing that I’m really excited about is football season starting! It’s just a little over a month away!
    2.  Favorite holiday? Definitely Christmas.
    3. Favorite season? Fall. Mainly because of football season, but I also love the weather, the clothes, and fall activities like pumpkin carving, bonfires, and haunted houses. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that my birthday is in October.
    4. Recent hobby?  I’ve started learning guitar. I didn’t want to tell a lot of people in case I don’t stick with it, but maybe this will make me feel more accountable. I just started a few weeks ago though so I don’t know much yet.
    5. If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be?   
    6. If you could have coffee with someone from the past, who would it be? If I’m picking someone I personally knew, I would say my grandma. But if we’re going with someone famous, I would say Cary Grant.
    7. What’s the best thing that happened this year? Going to London and Paris with my family!
    8. What’s the best way to decompress? Lighting a candle, drinking some coffee, and reading a good book.
    9. What’s the weirdest word in the English language? I can’t think of anything. Although I know there are plenty of weird words out there.
    10. If you had one superpower, what would it be? Reading minds. This probably just means I’m nosy.
    11. Who do you miss most? All of my grandparents and my mother-in-law!
    12. Who was the last person to text you? My friend, Lauren.
    13. Who are three people, alive or dead, that you would have dinner with? Tim Duncan, Peyton Manning and Audrey Hepburn. (Pick which one doesn’t belong.)
    14. Last book you read? I’m rereading a series from my early teen years, the Sierra Jensen series by Robin Jones Gunn. I just finished the 3rd book in the series, Don’t You Wish. I also just finished Come Home by Lisa Scottoline.
    15. Book you plan on reading? I want to read the last book of the 5th Wave trilogy, The Last Star, in the next week or two.
    16. Book you read because everyone else in the world was reading it? The Girl on the Train.
    17. A book from your childhood that positively shaped you?  The Christy Miller series and the Sierra Jensen series by Robin Jones Gunn. That’s why I’m rereading them.
    18. Favorite tv show that’s currently on tv? Superstore or America’s Got Talent
    19. Favorite ice cream? I’m not a big fan of ice cream, but I do like to get a butterscotch dipped cone from Dairy Queen occasionally.
    20. What makes you smile the most? Jonathon. Friends. Books.
    21. First pet? We had several beagles when I was little. My favorite was Jack. We also had a cat named Tom. That’s the only cat I’ve ever had.
    22. Worst subject in school? MATH.
    23. Favorite game? Catchphrase, Cranium… I love basically any board game or card game.
    24. Coolest thing in the world? If cool equals fun, then DISNEY WORLD.
    25. Cutest thing in the world? Puppies.
    26. Favorite thing in the world? Outside of being with family and friends…..Vols football and books.
    27. One talent you wish you had? Playing an instrument, but I’m working on it.
    28. One thing you still have from your childhood? ALL of my stuffed animals. Yes, all 200 of them. They are mostly in boxes though.
    29. What’s your patronus?  Probably a dog. haha.
    30. Last song you listened to on your phone? Float by Switchfoot. I have their new album on repeat.
    31. Favorite song lyrics? I love most things that Jon Foreman writes. I don’t want to choose anything specific though…
    32. What song would you probably be caught dancing alone to? Can’t Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake. It’s such a feel-good song.
    33. If you could work the runway, what song would it be? The thought of me working the runway is so absurd that I have no idea. haha
    34. Best gift you’ve ever been given? My engagement ring because it meant I was going to be marrying my best friend!
    35. Fashion icon? I can honestly say I don’t think I have one.
    36. What did you wear to your prom? I don’t know how to explain it, but it was a blue dress. Also, it wasn’t a real prom. More like a banquet.
    37. Who was your date to your prom? My now-husband, then-boyfriend, Jon.
    38. Favorite movie of all time? This is so hard, but I’ll say The Patriot (2000). I really want to list like 10 here, but I’ll resist. Maybe I’ll post that list sometime though.
    39. Favorite movie of the last five years? Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) or Captain Phillips (2013). Sorry I couldn’t pick just one.
    40. Movie that made you cry? Homeward Bound (1993)…..every time. This also goes in my top ten favorite movies.
    41. Movie that made you laugh the hardest? Hot Rod (2007).
    42. If you could make a documentary, what would it be about? Maybe something fitness related.
    43. Favorite TV show? LOST. And Friends. And The Office.
    44. If you could make a cameo in any TV show what would it be? The Office.
    45. Best plot twist of all time? Psycho (1969).
    46. Twitter or Instagram? Instagram. But I do like both.
    47. Who should everyone be following right now? @jonforeman
    48. Favorite food? Boneless wings. Or fajitas.
    49. Favorite dessert? Cheesecake. Or Strawberry Pie.
    50. Favorite band? Switchfoot or Needtobreathe.
    51.  Favorite solo artist? John Mayer.
    52. If you could sing a duet with anyone, who would it be? Michael Buble.
    53. What would be the title of your autobiography? Sorry, I really don’t know right now.
    54. Favorite sound? Rain when I’m going to sleep.
    55. Least favorite sound? A fork or knife scraping on a plate.
    56. Favorite animal? Dogs! My 2nd favorite would be horses.
    57. First celebrity crush? Cary Grant.
    58. Current celebrity crush? I honestly don’t really have one. But if I had to pick I would say Simon Cowell. I know this is probably an odd choice. haha
    59. What is your kryptonite? Fast food.
    60. Guilty pleasure? The Bachelor/The Bachelorette and Big Brother.
    61. Most proud moment? Graduating with my Master’s degree.
    62. Biggest weakness? Once again, I would say fast food/junk food.
    63. Skill still unmastered? Playing an instrument.
    64. What is the definition of misery? Going to the doctor’s office.
    65. Biggest learning experience? Hmm, maybe student teaching.
    66. What is your idea of a perfect date? Going to eat and then going to a coffee shop to read/talk.
    67. An experience when you felt the most nervous? Anytime I’ve been interviewed for anything.
    68. At what age were you the happiest? 17 was a great year. But I’m also really happy now.
    69. What’s one vice you wish you could give up? Starbucks.
    70. If you could teach a college course, what would it be called? I don’t know, but it would be health/fitness related probably.
    71. If you could star in any movie remake, what would it be? Charade. If you haven’t seen it, watch it.
    72. If you were an Olympic athlete, what would your event be? I would love to be that good at tennis.
    73. If you could offer your 13-year-old self one piece of advice, what would it be? Just to savor every bit of my teenage years! It was such a great time in my life.
